A 25-year-old Arizona man is facing charges after he tried to beat up several police officers while being booked into jail.

Ceasar Ruben Meraz was arrested by Mesa Police after he allegedly fought with four ROTC students outside of a high school on Wednesday of last week.

As captured in the video, Meraz punched a police officer in the face before being confronted by several officers who apparently tasered him, pinned him down and arrested him. He faces three felony and six possible misdemeanor charges.

Meraz allegedly told police, “I just wanted to fight someone.”
