MC Hammer mugshotDublin Police apparently haven’t heard how untouchable MC Hammer is, arresting him Thursday night for obstruction and resisting arrest, according to a Jan. 23, 2013 CNN report.

Stanley Kirk Burrell, aka MC Hammer, launched a string of tweets Saturday night, bashing Dublin Police over claims that he was pulled over for racial profiling.

He tweeted:

I will now answer his question, contrary to his personal beliefs, all people of color are not on parole or probation fat boy !!!

Burrell claims that when the officer pulled him over near Hacienda Crossing, the officer, he refers to in his tweets as “chubby Elvis” allegedly asked him:

“Are you on parole or probation?”

Burrell says that the officer then attempted to pull him out of his car as he attempted to pull out his ID, then he officer pulled his gun and began blowing a whistle and calling for backup.

Burrell continued his tweet tirade, responding back to supporters who jokingly told the rap star:

It is unclear why police pulled Burrell over but in the end, he was arrested and charged suspicion of resisting an officer and obstructing an officer in the performance of his duties.

Police spokesperson Herb Walter’s told CNN that Burrell was would not answer officer’s questions.

“Instead of being bitter, I’m taking the opportunity to make this a “teachable moment” and “eye opener” for my many friends & colleagues,” tweeted Burrell.
